Information in relation to accessing personal data controlled by the Courts Service is available here. For the avoidance of doubt, the Courts Service is not the data controller in relation to court records held by the court.
You can request information which we may hold about you by making a subject access request.
It is generally best to explain the information you hope to obtain as this will allow us to focus any search to the most relevant information. To help establish your identity, photocopies of one official document containing your photograph must accompany your application, which between them clearly show:
- your name
- your date of birth
For example, a photocopy of a driving licence, passport and any other official document that shows your name and image.
