The Court of Appeal hears civil appeals from decisions of the High Court.
The powers of the Court are set out in the Court of Appeal Act 2014. Rules of court and practice directions govern the appeal procedure. Many of the judgments delivered by the Court are published on this website.
Three judges sit for the hearing of a civil appeal although the President of the Court (or a judge nominated by the President) hears applications for orders which are not final orders. The court list is managed by the President or by a judge nominated by the President.
